Mini Sports Stars is a brilliant, award-winning grassroots football club for children aged 4 to 16 in Streatham and Clapham, with over 200 players showing up every week and a community that genuinely stretches from the pitch to the school gates. Their existing website had been built by the club's coaches to get something live, which was exactly the right instinct. But as they put it themselves: they're football coaches, not web designers. The site was hard to navigate, light on clear calls to action, and wasn't keeping up with all the things the club had to offer, from holiday camps to term dates to competitive league football.
They needed a website that worked as hard as they did. In one day, that's what they got.
What We Did
Reworked the page layouts across the entire site so that parents can find what they need quickly and get their kids booked in without frustration, whether they're on a laptop at home or a phone at the school gates.
Added clear, confident calls to action throughout so that every page has an obvious next step, no more dead ends or visitors drifting away without booking.
Introduced fun, engaging design elements including flipping cards to bring some energy and personality to the site, reflecting the inclusive, joyful spirit of the club itself.
Built out FAQs on every service page and reworked the content throughout to boost both traditional SEO and AI-powered search visibility, helping more local families find MSS when they're looking for kids' football nearby.
Optimised the design fully for mobile as well as desktop, because busy parents booking holiday camps or checking term dates are almost always doing it on their phone.
Created templates and video walkthroughs so the MSS team can confidently keep the site updated with new camps, dates, and announcements all year round, no designer required.
The result is a website that finally does justice to everything Mini Sports Stars has built over eight years. It's energetic, easy to navigate, and set up to convert curious parents into bookings, whether they're looking for a Saturday morning session, a holiday camp spot, or a place in the competitive league.
This one was personal. As a parent at the club, it was a joy to give something back to a community that gives so much to local kids every single week.
