The Bedroom Company London is a Teddington-based family-owned business that designs and builds bespoke fitted furniture with, quality, built-to-last craftsmanship.
Brief
The Bedroom Company London's Eleni reached out to me, expressing her embarrassment in sending clients to their website. Despite using Instagram as their main portfolio, they were not promoting their website at all. Unfortunately, due to their past experience with a Squarespace web designer, they found themselves in a difficult position where they had no access to the back end of their website. This left them unable to make updates or even consider a full redesign, leaving them feeling stuck.
Result
Before starting the website redesign, I assisted Eleni in getting the content ready, planning the necessary pages, and finalising design preferences. Within a day and a half, I completely redesigned and rebuilt The Bedroom Company London website. I added unique fonts and hover effects while maintaining an overall sleek and simple design that guides visitors through a clear journey. A neutral colour scheme was chosen to highlight the images on each page. Additionally, we integrated their Instagram page into the website, enabling users to seamlessly navigate between their website and social media accounts.
Once the website was complete, I connected their domain from the old website to the new one, and most importantly transferred ownership so they now have full control over their website. With the library of post-launch videos provided, The Bedroom Company London now possesses all the necessary tools to make future updates and edits easily.
