What We Did
Designed and built a brand new Squarespace website in a single day, migrating away from Wix entirely
Set up smart, tailored shop functionality - cake orders flow seamlessly via WhatsApp (keeping that personal touch), while event tickets are sold directly through the site
Used custom code to introduce colour swatches for select cakes, giving customers a beautiful, intuitive browsing experience
Added accordion-style dropdown product descriptions to keep pages feeling clean and uncluttered without sacrificing detail
Built every customisation in a way that's fully manageable by Malar - no code, no confusion, no need to call anyone
Delivered a library of bespoke video tutorials covering both general Squarespace how-tos and site-specific guidance, so Malar is completely set up for the future
The design goal was clear from the start: visually exciting without being overwhelming. Somewhere between a premium editorial food magazine and a shop you actually want to browse. That balance has been beautifully achieved.
