Behind The Scenes: January ‘22
In January I took on 0 new clients.
Why?
I chose to take the month to invest in myself and build a really solid business foundation for the year. It was pretty scary knowing that my income was going to dramatically drop, but SO worth it!
Some of the things I have achieved this month are:
🌻 Getting my SEO ducks in a row. If your website is in need of some SEO love I’d highly recommend signing up to Kate Scott's #RaiseYourRank 5 day challenge! I did it at the start of the month, and it was great!
🌻 Consistent blog plan for the next couple of months (one of the SEO ducks). I don’t love writing, but understand the importance of blogs - not only for SEO, but for credibility too. I doubt I’ll win any awards, but I’m determined to keep at it!
🌻 Putting a solid, consistent social media plan together for the year. I had a love / hate relationship with social media in 2021, but having a monthly plan in place (it gets looser as the year goes on) has actually got me excited!
🌻 Investing a lot more time in the #StandoutSquarespace* course by SquareStylist and learning more CSS skills! This course is the gift that keeps on giving! Not only are there 12 core modules, but monthly workshops and walk throughs too! I learn so much during every tutorial, and am seriously up-levelling my coding skills! My best investment of 2021 by far!
🌻 Finishing my first Squarespace website template OSLO! I have also filmed the accompanying video tutorials (this was well out of my comfort zone) and am nearly ready to launch! Keep your eyes peeled!
