Beyond Sober: WEBSITE IN ONE DAY

Jo, founder of Beyond Sober, had recently launched her coaching business and already had strong foundations in place. She had existing branding elements including her logo and colour palette, had carefully curated style led imagery, and had written detailed, thoughtful content for each page of her website.
Jo had attempted to build her website on Squarespace independently but found the process time consuming and difficult to balance alongside launching a new business. She was looking for a professional, editorial style website that felt calm, confident and considered, and that would allow her to show up online feeling proud and ready to share her work.
Over the course of a full design day, I brought Jo’s website to life, translating her vision into a cohesive, beautifully styled online presence.
What We Did
Designed and built a 6+ page Squarespace website in one day
Used colour blocking throughout the site to add visual interest, incorporate branding and break up white space
Introduced parallax scrolling on selected images to add subtle movement and depth, used intentionally so it enhanced rather than distracted
Styled and integrated a mailing list sign up form using Kit so it fitted seamlessly with the website design
Linked the website to Jo’s Substack page to create a smooth connection between platforms
Ensured the overall look and feel was editorial, professional and aligned with Jo’s brand values
By the end of the day, Jo had a website that exceeded her expectations and gave her the confidence to launch and share her business. After our time working together, Jo emailed to say:
