Running one of the largest and longest-established dance schools in the area is something to be genuinely proud of. But when new studios start opening up nearby and your website is running on a version of Squarespace that hasn't been updated in years, even the best school in town can start to look like it's playing catch-up. My client knew their website wasn't reflecting the quality, experience, and warmth that families find when they walk through the door. They needed a site that positioned them exactly where they belong: at the top.

What We Did
Rebuilt the site from the ground up on the latest version of Squarespace, unlocking modern features and functionality that the old platform simply couldn't support.
Created a premium, editorial design that leads with stunning professional photography and video, putting the quality of the academy's dancers and productions front and centre from the very first scroll.
Introduced animated text movement on scroll to add energy and dynamism to the experience, giving the site a high-end feel that reflects the standard of training on offer.
Redesigned the user journey with a clear focus on encouraging new families to book a free trial, with confident calls to action woven throughout every page.
Balanced the dual audience carefully: the site works beautifully as a tool to attract and inspire prospective new students, while also housing everything existing students and parents need, from exam information and curriculum detail to performance dates and student resources.
Restructured the navigation and page architecture to make the wealth of information on offer genuinely easy to find, whether you're a parent on your phone or a student hunting for class details.
The result is a website that finally does justice to over 15 years of excellent teaching, community, and performance. It's warm and welcoming for families exploring for the first time, authoritative and detailed for those already part of the academy, and polished enough to hold its own against any competitor in the area.
