Wrapping Up 2025 & Hello 2026!

Can you believe we're already at the end of 2025?

I'm sitting here with a coffee (obviously), looking back at what's been quite the year, and thought I'd give you a full update on what's happening as we head into the festive season and beyond.

Christmas Plans

I'm officially clocking off for THREE WHOLE WEEKS over Christmas! 🎄

The kids break up soon, and I'm taking the week before they finish to properly wind down (because trying to wrap presents AND finish client work is a recipe for disaster - learned that one the hard way).

Then it's full festive mode - too much cheese, questionable amounts of Quality Streets, and absolutely zero guilt about not checking emails.

All client work is being wrapped up before the chaos hits, so I can actually be present with my family instead of sneaking off to "just check one thing" on my laptop.

January Availability

Here's where it gets exciting - I'm coming back on Tuesday 6th January ready to GO!

While lots of people ease back in slowly (completely valid!), I've found that after three weeks off, I genuinely miss the routine and come back buzzing with fresh energy and ideas.

I have just a handful of Q1 spaces left (January, February, March) for Website in a Day, and they're filling up fast. If you've been thinking about sorting your website to kick off 2026 properly, now's the time to grab your spot.

Because starting the new year with a brand new website you're actually proud of? That's the kind of energy you want for 2026.

2025 Highlights

What a year it's been! Here are some things I'm particularly chuffed about:

✨ Worked with a business mentor for the first time
✨ Been consistently booked out a month in advance since March
✨ Went on my first workation (Alicante with YAY Collective - life-changing!)
✨ Second trip to Squarespace HQ in New York (upgraded from hostel to hotel this time!)
✨ Finally got my garden office (no more working from the dining table!)
✨ Actually stuck to my goal of two newsletters per month
✨ Got consistent with social media

My biggest lesson? Success doesn't always mean ‘more.’ Sometimes it means finding your sustainable sweet spot!

Looking Ahead to 2026

I don't have massive, audacious goals for next year. Just more of what's working:

Keep helping brilliant business owners launch websites they're genuinely proud of. Stay fully booked at a sustainable level. Be present with my family. Keep showing up consistently. Maybe another workation or two!

Sometimes the best plan is just to keep doing what makes you happy, right?
