The Top 8 Squarespace Designers to Hire in 2026
Here's a secret about the Squarespace world: the designers in it are some of the most generous people you'll ever meet. We share clients, swap tips, cheer each other on and send work to one another when we're fully booked or someone else is a better fit.
So this isn't a list of competitors. It's a list of people I genuinely rate (in no particular order), whose work I'd happily send a friend to. Every one of them builds on Squarespace as their main platform, has real client work you can click through to, and is taking on projects right now.
Prices below come from each designer's own website at the time of writing (October 2026). They'll change, so treat them as a starting point and check with the designer directly.
1. Nick Croce, Design by Ency
Nick is a Liverpool-based designer and Squarespace Circle Platinum Partner with more than 250 websites under his belt for clients across the UK, the US and beyond. He's also a recommended expert on the Squarespace Marketplace. What I love about Nick is that he does every bit of the work himself, so you deal with him from the first call to launch day. No account managers, no juniors.
He gives you two clear routes: a bespoke Squarespace site that he builds, trains you on and hands over, or his Managed-For-You plan, where he builds the site and then looks after it every month so it never goes stale. (Full disclosure: Nick kindly featured me in his own UK list, and I'm very happy to return the favour.)
Best for: law firms, health clinics, charities, startups, venture capital and agencies who want a polished site and a designer who sticks around.
Services: custom Squarespace design, redesigns, Managed-For-You websites, SEO growth plans, branding and copywriting, white label builds for agencies.
Prices: custom Squarespace builds from £3,000. Managed-For-You from £150 a month. Website health check £275.
Location: Liverpool, UK
2. Kessiah Carlbon, Radiant Websites
Kessiah found Squarespace back in 2012 as a DIYer running her own yoga studio, loved it so much she sold the studio, and has been designing on it full time ever since. Fourteen years and more than 300 entrepreneurs later, she's a Squarespace Marketplace Expert and Circle Platinum Partner, with 50-plus five-star Google reviews and a 100% top-rated record on Upwork.
Her work blends art and code, so think custom animations, colourful layered artwork and online stores, all built so clients can still edit everything themselves. Her portfolio is wonderfully varied, from therapists and yoga teachers to an aerospace company and a dog-sledding business. She also shares a lovely library of free Squarespace tutorials on her blog and YouTube.
Best for: entrepreneurs, artists, coaches, therapists and service businesses who want a site full of personality.
Services: custom builds, redesigns, one-off fixes, video audits, ongoing maintenance, SEO packages, live Power Hours and custom tutorials.
Prices (USD): Professional tier from $2,500 (one to three pages), Powerhouse from $4,250 (four to twelve pages), Premium from $12,000. Hourly work $125, live sessions $185 an hour, video audits $50.

3. Dave Hawkins, Made by Dave
If there's a Squarespace credential going, Dave has it. He's a Circle Platinum Partner, Marketplace Expert, Authorised Trainer and London Community Partner, and he's been building exclusively on Squarespace since 2014. That's more than 650 websites and over 18,000 hours on the platform, for clients including Skyscanner, an NHS Trust arts charity and CUNY.
Made by Dave is the team I'd point you to if your organisation has brand guidelines, several people signing things off and a lot of content to wrangle. Accessibility and WCAG compliance is a proper service there, not an afterthought. Dave also runs Squarehead, an advanced course for anyone who wants to really master the platform.
Best for: enterprises, charities, churches, education and growing brands with bigger, more complex sites.
Services: custom Squarespace builds and migrations, audits, Squarespace Commerce, Designer for a Day, brand and asset creation, custom development, training and retainers, accessibility and compliance.
Prices: projects are quoted individually.

4. Emily Lewis, TwoFold
Emily spent years in marketing, both at an agency and in-house, before founding TwoFold, and it shows. Her starting point is simple: your website should be your best salesperson, not just a pretty brochure. So SEO, email marketing, branding and imagery are all considered together, and Emily acts more like a consultant on your project than just a designer.
TwoFold is a Squarespace Circle Partner and was named Best Affordable Design Studio at the Welsh Enterprise Awards 2025. If you're watching your budget but still want proper strategy behind your site, Emily is a brilliant shout.
Best for: service-based small businesses, non-profits, professional services and local businesses who want marketing thinking baked in.
Services: Squarespace website design with SEO, SEO set-up, monthly marketing packages, ongoing Squarespace support.
Prices: website design and SEO package from £1,799. SEO set-up from £499. Monthly marketing from £299 a month. Support £40 an hour.

5. Krishna Solanki, Krishna Solanki Designs
Krishna has been designing brands and websites for over 20 years and has built KSD into Cambridge's go-to Squarespace and branding studio since 2019. She's a Squarespace Circle Member and Marketplace Expert, and her client list includes the University of Cambridge, Hachette UK and Cambridge Clinical Laboratories, alongside plenty of startups and independent businesses.
If you've ever wished a designer would just run the project properly, Krishna is your person. She's also won and been shortlisted for a whole shelf of awards, and she teaches other designers how to package their services too.

6. Marianne Lumholdt, Mar Mar Co. Studio
Mar Mar Co. Studio is the London-based practice of Marianne Lumholdt and Mark Bedford, and their work is some of the most elegant you'll see on Squarespace. Their belief is that a brand and a website are really the same question, so they design both together from the same strategic foundation, starting with your content rather than squeezing it into a template.
The portfolio leans beautifully towards the creative and cultural world, with arts organisations, performance, design studios and independent makers alongside consultants and founder-led businesses. Clients regularly mention how Marianne balances creativity with practicality, and how smooth she makes moving from WordPress to Squarespace.
Best for: founder-led businesses, consultancies, start-ups and creative or cultural organisations who want a considered, editorial look.
Services: Squarespace website design (Standard or Custom packages), brand identity, an integrated brand identity plus website offer, art direction and consultancy.
Prices: packages are quoted on enquiry, starting with a free 15-minute intro call.
Location: London, UK
7. Jen, Studio Emm
Jen has been designing websites for over 20 years. Before Studio Emm she was lead designer at a big Manchester agency, building sites for The Premier League, The FA and Carling. Now she brings that big brand thinking to small businesses, and she's a Squarespace Circle Gold Partner.
Her signature 2-Day Launch is exactly what it sounds like: a strategic, fully custom Squarespace site built and launched in 48 hours. She's a fellow believer that a website shouldn't drag on for months, so you'll understand why I'm a fan! Jen gets busy business owners (she's built two businesses around two kids herself) and her sites are made to bring in enquiries while you're off living your life.
Best for: established small businesses and female founders whose website hasn't kept up with how much they've grown.
Services: The 2-Day Launch, Website SOS Day (a focused day fixing your existing Squarespace site), Website Breakthrough audits, plus shop, blog and copywriting add-ons.
Prices: 2-Day Launch £1,975 for a five-page site, or £600 for a one-page site. Extra pages £150 each. Shops from £450.

8. Rosanna (Anna), byRosanna
Anna is a Cornwall-based Squarespace designer who's been designing on the platform for over 11 years, with more than 170 websites for everyone from photographers and coaches to Pilates studios and an ice cream brand. She calls herself a "creator of calm", and her whole process is built around taking the stress off your plate.
What makes Anna stand out is how much she knows about marketing beyond the website. She's a Flodesk partner and instructor, has grown an email list of over 10,000 subscribers, runs The Freelance Fix podcast and has taught more than 500 students through her courses and business kits. So your site gets designed with SEO, conversions and what happens after launch firmly in mind. Around half her clients are in the US, too.
Best for: personal brands, experts, coaches, wellness businesses and premium service providers who want a stylish, strategy-led site.
Services: her 2 Week Website Design package, plus email marketing set-up, booking integrations, sales pages and her 2 Hour Business Kits.
Prices: 2 Week Website Design from £3,500 (no VAT), with a custom quote after your discovery call.
Location: Cornwall, UK
How to choose the right Squarespace designer for you
There's no single "best" designer here, just the best fit for you. A few questions will narrow it down quickly.
How fast do you need it? If you're ready to go and want it done, look at the speedy formats: Studio Emm's 2-Day Launch, Krishna's Website in a Week, or my own Website in One Day.
Do you need a brand as well? Krishna and Mar Mar Co. Studio both design brand identity and website together, so everything feels like one joined-up system.
How big and complex is your site? For multiple stakeholders, accessibility requirements or enterprise-level builds, Dave's team and Nick are brilliant choices.
Is marketing a priority? Emily builds SEO and marketing thinking into every project, and offers monthly marketing support afterwards. Rosanna is brilliant if email marketing is a big part of how you sell.
Do you want someone to look after it? Nick's Managed-For-You plan means you never have to log in again if you'd rather not.
Do you want personality and custom flourishes? Kessiah's art-meets-code approach is hard to beat.
Whoever you choose, book that intro call. You'll know pretty quickly whether you click, and every designer on this list will tell you honestly if someone else is a better fit. That's the Squarespace community for you.
And if you'd like to chat about building your site in a single day, book a call with me. Zero faff, I promise.
